Create a workflow: what changed from OpCon Classic

Concept mapping, under review

This page maps OpCon Classic concepts to their OpCon Continuum equivalents. It is a conceptual mapping under review, and it deliberately does not compare the two products' platform or job-type breadth. Use it to translate what you already know — not as the basis for a migration plan. Confirm specifics with your Continuous contact.

What this solves

In OpCon Classic you built a Schedule (a Master that built into a Daily) and edited jobs in the Solution Manager or the Enterprise Manager desktop client. In OpCon Continuum the container is a workflow you assemble on a visual canvas, and every save is a version. The concepts line up, but the authoring experience is new, so it helps to see the mapping before you start.

What you get. A clear translation of the Classic authoring model to OpCon Continuum, and the steps to build your first workflow the new way.
